HPL v1.0
All source code that i release publicly in this web site is under the Hilario Public License v1.0 unless i specify another license.
What is the meaning of HPL v1.0?
This means that you as an individual, as a company or as an enterprise can use the code for any purpose you like. You can also get the code and say you made it. I won’t blame you. The only thing you cannot do is to publish the code on other web page. It can only be published on wolfbit.com or by permission of the author (Hilario Perez Corona) on other web site.
Just remember that the code that i release is not fully tested, so, if it crashes your computer, hurts your dog or burn your house don’t blame me. You know what i mean.
Why am i releasing my hard work under this kind of license?
That’s an easy questions, the answer is simple: i hate restrictions. And i know that my work and research isn’t spectacular, state-of-the-art or out-of-this-world, and anyone could write it, so that’s why. I just hope it would be useful for someone out there.
Why isn’t there a full document detailing the HPL v1.0 license?
Because is very simple and straight forward: Use it as you like. Don’t blame me. And don’t publish it on other web sites.
